522240 Brown Aluminum Oxide 240 grit, 50 lb. box, shipped to States in the Eastern and Central US from the Michigan warehouse (for states in the Western US see 55 lb. boxes which are shipped from the California warehouse), 50 to 80 recycles, moderate to fast cutting speed, consistent grit size, generates static electricity causing abrasive & dust to stick to back side of glass substrate and to blast cabinet window resulting in obscured vision, and mild shocks that are annoying to operator. 240 grit yields a smooth white/milky frosted appearance. Good for surface etching and frosting of fine detail and when a smooth appearance is needed. Used by a lot of artists doing custom work. Works with vinyl or rubber resist, or photo mask.
